More info »This is your basic type of door handle on a Backplate. It is most commonly used on door that does not need to be locked such as a living room or dining room door. It has a Lever fixed to a Backplate and operates a Mortice Latch.

This handle type has a Lever fitted to a Backplate along with a Thumbturn and Emergency Release fitted below. It is commonly used on a door that needs to be locked for privacy such as a bathroom door. It operates a Bathroom Lock and the Thumbturn commonly fits a 5mm spindle which operates the bolt on a Bathroom Lock.

This type of handle is most commonly used on Bedroom doors. It has a Lever, Thumbturn and Emergency Release fitted to a Backplate. It works by a mechanism behind the plate which locks the lever handle and prevents it from being pushed down. It is used in conjunction with a Mortice Latch.

This type of door handle is similar to a Lever Latch Handle. The only difference being that it has a small sized key hole cut out (known as STANDARD Profile) on the Backplate below the lever handle. This is to allow a key to operate a Sash Lock morticed within the door. This type of handle is most commonly used on Back doors, Store Cupboards and Offices.

This type of door handle is similar to a Lever Latch handle. The only difference being that it has a large sized key hole cut out (known as EURO Profile) on the Backplate below the lever handle. This is to allow a Euro Profile Cylinder to be fitted in conjunction with and operate a Euro Profile Sash Lock morticed within the door. This type of handle is most commonly used on Back doors, Store Cupboards and Offices.

This type of door handle is similar to a Lever Latch handle. The only difference being that it has a large Oval hole cut out (known as OVAL Profile) on the Backplate below the lever handle. This is to allow an Oval Profile Cylinder to be fitted in conjunction with and operate an Oval Profile Sash Lock morticed within the door. This type of handle is most commonly used on Back doors, Store Cupboards and Offices.

Again this type of door handle operates the same as a Lever Handle but is designed specify for use with a Multi-point Locking System. It has a Euro profile cut out as standard which allows a Euro Profile Cylinder to be fitted in conjunction with a Multi-point Lock. This type of handle is usually un-sprung – allowing the lever to be pushed up to throw the bolts on the lock. Various centres are available to suit different Multi-point Locking systems.

A type of door handle which is normally fixed to a Round or Square Rose depending on the design. A Rose has no visible holes or fixings, as these are covered over by a second part which either clips on over or as with some more expensive handles will screw on. This handle is commonly used on door that does not need to be locked such as a Living Room or Dining Room door. It operates a Mortice Latch.

This is a cover normally used in conjunction with a Lever on Rose where a Sashlock is required. These are available to match the Handle it is used with and come in a variety of cut outs such as Standard, Euro and Oval profiles depending on the type of Sashlock and Cylinder which is specified.

A Thumbturn and Emergency Release are used on Bathroom and Toilet Cubicle doors. These are available to match the Handle it is used with. They operate a spindle which turns a Bathroom Lock. They also can be fitted alone.

This style of rose is usually associated with more traditional design of Lever handle. The rose has countersunk drilled holes to allow screws to be threaded through and face fixed to the door.

This Style of door knob is designed to be fitted in conjunction with a Mortice Latch, Sashlock or Bathroom Lock. The Rose may be sprung or un-sprung and can be either face fixed or concealed fix depending on the design. All Mortice Knobs are supplied as a pair of identical knobs.

The Rose has no visible holes or fixings shown as these are covered by a separate part which is securely fixed to the fixing plate.

The rose has countersunk drilled holes to allow screws to be threaded through and face fixed to the door. The screw heads can be seen.

Designed to fit a Traditional design Rim Lock or Latch (A self contained Lock or Latch concealed in it’s own case and fitted to the inside face of the door) a Rim Knob is supplied as a pair with one knob on a Rose which is fixed to the outside of face of the door and the other free to be fitted to the Rim Lock or Latch.

This knob design is commonly used as an External Knob on a Front door. It is secured with an M6 Bolt, which is fitted through the door and into the back of the Knob. The knob is designed for decorative design and as a pull to close the door behind. It cannot be used with Latches or Locks.

These knobs are designed for use on a Cupboard or Cabinet door. It is secured by a M4 Bolt, which is fitted through the rear of the door and into the back of the knob. Many cupboard knobs match the designs of larger cupboard knobs.

A cover used in conjunction with a Mortice Knob where a Sashlock is required. These are available to match many of the Knobs it is used with and come in a variety of cut outs such as Standard, Euro and Oval profiles depending on the type of Sashlock and Cylinder which is specified. However some door Knobs with a large diameter Rose may not match all Escutcheons.

A Thumbturn and Emergency Release are used on Bathroom doors. These are available to match many of the Knobs it is used with. However some door Knobs with a large diameter Rose may not match all Turn & Releases. They operate a spindle which turns a Bathroom Lock. They also can be fitted alone.

A Door knob may be awkward to operate for those with mobility issues such as arthritis or for young children. A Lever Door Handle is much easier to operate as it does not require the same action of grip that is need on a Door Knob.
These handles are designed for use on a Cupboard or Cabinet door. They are secured by pair of M4 Bolts, which are fitted through the rear of the door and into the back of the handle. Cupboard handles are designed to industry standard Fixing Centre Measurements. Please note the projection measurement is measured from the face of the door to the underside of the handle.

These knobs are designed for use on a Cupboard or Cabinet door. They are secured by a M4 Bolt, which is fitted through the rear of the door and into the back of the knob. Many cupboard knobs match the designs of larger cupboard knobs.

Bolt Fix Pull Handles are available in variety of Shapes, Sizes and Finishes. They are typically fixed by two M6 or M8 Bolts through the rear of the door and into the back of the handle. The bolt heads are normally covered by a Pushplate. Pull Handles are designed to Industry Standard Fixing Centre Measurements but can be made bespoke to a style and dimensions of your choice.

Back to Back Pull Handles are available in variety of Shapes, Sizes and Finishes. They are typically fixed together as a pair by Bolts threaded through one side of the door and secured into one Pull Handle. The other Pull Handle is then secured to the other side of this fixing using Grub Screws.

Pull Handles and Cupboard Handles are generally manufactured to the following Industry Standard Fixing Centre Measurements: 64mm, 96mm, 128mm, 160mm, 192mm,224mm, 288mm, 352mm, 384mm, 448mm, 512mm, 608mm, 640mm, 768mm, 864mm, 960mm, 1024mm
It is important to note that most locks come in two common sizes, 63mm (2.5") and 76mm (3"). This is the depth of the lock i.e how far it sits into the door. If a Backset measurement is given this is the distance from the face plate to the centre of the spindle hole. Most the Lockcases have lock centres of 57mm which is the distance from the centre of the handle to the centre of the keyhole. If you want all your handles to match throughout the house then you ideally want all the locks i.e tubular latches, bathroom locks and sash locks to match i.e all 63mm or all 76mm. You should also match the finish of the locks to the handles. For Chrome and Satin Chrome handles choose the locks with Stainless Steel finish and for Brass handles the Polished Brass finish.
