Banham Patent Locks Ltd was founded in 1926 by William F. Banham and has been a leader in burglary prevention since that date. He invented the first Banham lock, an automatic door bolt, and became a pioneer in the production of high quality locks. Both the police and insurance industry have praised Banham locks. Banham locks which have a unique registration system are still protected by worldwide patents, hence the word ‘patent’ in the company name.
